Approved Biologists

The East Contra Costa County HCP/NCCP requires a CDFW and USFWS approved biologist to conduct certain species surveys for the implementation of covered activities in the HCP/NCCP Permit Area. To be approved, biologists must have the experience, education, and training necessary to perform the tasks described in the HCP/NCCP accurately and in an unbiased fashion. The application process is detailed below.

Request for Qualifications: Biologist Approval Process 

Professionals interested in submitting their qualifications for CDFW and USFWS approval to conduct species surveys for covered activities in the HCP/NCCP Permit Area as required per Chapter 6 of the Plan should see information provided below.

Professionals shall complete Attachment A. Biologist Approval Request Form and submit electronically as a PDF to Conservancy@dcd.cccounty.us
